Reingold Inc. has been awarded a contract valued at more than $600,000 per year, along with subcontractor Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR), to promote The Nation's Report Card.
Reingold and Ogilvy PR will develop and execute a communications campaign to help the nation's opinion leaders and general public better understand the data and statistics presented in the reports. This outreach, dissemination, and communications contract is in support of the National Assessment Governing Board (NAGB), the independent, bipartisan board that sets policy for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), commonly known as The Nation's Report Card.
Kevin Miller, principal at Reingold, said, "Now more than ever focus on and measurement of student achievement is critical for the health of our economy as well as the strength of our communities. We are eager to bring The Nation's Report Card to life and help NAGB achieve its goals through innovative outreach and communications methods."
"Ogilvy PR is happy to have the opportunity to work on this great campaign once again," said Robert Mathias, managing director of Ogilvy PR/Washington, of the agency's past experience promoting The Nation's Report Card. "We hope to find innovative ways to help NAGB disseminate this important information to the general public and policymakers that are sharable, useful, and informative."
The contract will include media and public relations, online outreach, stakeholder outreach, materials development, and special events.
