**On October 5, AMADC will launch its Mentor Program** at General Assembly in Washington, D.C. The program, designed to accommodate up to 25 young marketing professionals, is open for applications from both young professionals/protégés and senior marketers who can serve as a mentor.

The program, stated AMADC has been redesigned to ensure flexibility and features three levels of interaction:

**An introductory meeting and ongoing mentoring events:** **Linda Keller**, an organizational and professional development expert, will lead the October 5 meeting at General Assembly. The workshop will introduce participants to the design principles for the program, establish shared expectations and allow participants to network. It will be the first of three networking meetings.

**Monthly one-on-one engagement:** Participants will meet with their respective mentors every month through June 2017\. This nine-month program will ensure that participants have meaningful and ongoing engagement and design a mentoring program that aligns with their schedule.

**LinkedIn Community:** The mentoring program will be supported by a private LinkedIn community to ensure that individuals across the network can connect on an ongoing basis and share information.

“Our commitment was to create a program that benefits marketing professionals across Washington,” said **Regan Lamb**, president of AMADC. “We’re excited about the new options we believe will result in a mentoring program that is rewarding for both protégés and their mentors.”

The program fee is $150 for protégés and includes attendance at all AMADC-related events. An application for both prospective protégés and mentors is available on the [AMADC website](http://www.amadc.org/amadc-mentor-program?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) and is due September 28\. The application was developed to ensure a proper match in the mentoring relationship, with participants informed of their proposed mentor prior to the October 5 meeting.
