# Axios HQ adds Mixing Board, described as a community of the nation’s top comms, brand and marketing leaders

According to a release, over the last four years:

- **Axios HQ has built the go-to solutions** — in software, training, and editorial services —for thousands of the world’s top organizations looking to enhance the impact of their communication.
- **Mixing Board Inc. has earned a reputation** as the community convening the smartest people in communication, making it possible for them to tap each other’s expertise, and elevating the value of their work along the way.

Over that time, continues the release, “each had a parallel vision: Communication is the greatest competitive differentiator of any well-run organization, and the leaders who invest in doing it well — and instill that skill at every level of their organization — are best poised to succeed.

“Now, they have a shared mission: to advance the communication industry, to support the leaders at every stage of growth empowered to do that work, and to elevate the value of the critical work they’re doing.”

Axios HQ CEO **Roy Schwartz** said**:** “Every organization’s revenue and reputation depend on effective communication. According to an online item, Axios HQ is a separate company that spun off from Axios Media, meaning it was originally a part of Axios but became its own independent entity after Axios was acquired by Cox Enterprises; essentially, Axios HQ is a technology division focused on internal communications software, while Axios is a news platform.
