**Anne Arundel County Executive Laura Neuman** announced the appointment of **Meredith L. Thompson** to the position of public information officer. Thompson previously served as public affairs specialist. Prior to joining the county earlier this year, Thompson was the assistant editor of the Severna Park Voice, Arundel Voice and Pasadena Voice newspapers in Anne Arundel County. Thompson replaced **Linda West** who left earlier this year.

**Jessica Fast joined Abel Communications** in Hampden as an account manager, focusing on multiple existing and new accounts. She joined Abel from Himmelrich PR in Baltimore, where she was an account executive.

**At Himmelrich PR, Dennis Mizzoni** has been promoted to account coordinator. Prior to joining Himmelrich two years ago, he worked at City Paper. Also at Himmelrich PR, **Catherine Rinaldo** has joined as an account associate. Previously an intern at HPR, she is a 2014 graduate of Johns Hopkins University where she earned a degree in physics.

**Lainie Troutman now is director of marketing at JRS Architects** in Baltimore. Prior to JRS, she was senior art director at illume communications in Baltimore and director of marketing at WPM Real Estate Management in Owings Mills.
