**Internet and advertising research firm ComScore** shuffled its leadership team, reports[ The Washington Post](https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/business/wp/2016/08/10/comscore-shuffles-leadership-as-accounting-investigation-continues/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com), tapping company co-founder **Gian Fulgoni** as chief executive and naming a new chairman and chief financial officer.

The Post, in part, added:

“The changes come as the Reston, Va.-based firm has delayed reporting its financial results in the wake of an inquiry into its accounting practices.

““The first half of 2016 was not business as usual for the company because of the distraction caused by the investigation,” Fulgoni said in a conference call Wednesday with analysts, according to a transcript.

“Fulgoni said the board agreed to put in place new leadership “that’s fully dedicated to operating the business with only minimal distraction.”

“ComScore, which specialized in measuring Internet and advertising traffic across computers, cellphones and other devices, began a probe in February into how it reported unspecified “nonmonetary revenue,” or transactions with no money attached.

“Former Procter & Gamble executive **Joan M. Lewis** was named chairman, and **David Chemerow** assumed the role of chief financial officer.”
