The move to start the firm began when Pressler, co-founder of Capital Practice Consulting, had a vision for the need for marketing beyond healthcare and was spurred by the changing needs of other business partners. Pressler, states a release, “started from humble beginnings as a self-taught HTML web designer, early Facebook adopter, MIT grad and scientist to curating a large team of digital marketing professionals delivering results for clients in the healthcare space and beyond. “The origins of BlueHuki Group – Dr. Pressler was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. Huki is a Hawaiian word that describes the movement of an oar propelling a boat forward in the water. Huki also comes from the legend of Maui pulling the Hawaiian islands from the blue abyss into existence.”
