# D.C.-area agency updates: Beekeeper Group, Brightfind and DG Public Relations

[**Beekeeper Group**](https://www.beekeepergroup.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) **promoted Alexandra Dickinson and Hannah Levy to Partner.** Dickinson, left in photo, joined Beekeeper Group in 2012 as an account manager and, for the past three years, was Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff. In her new role as Partner, she will continue to oversee the client services team, which means ensuring that our staff and clients are getting the best possible experience, but will also play a primary role in key leadership decisions for the company. Levy, right in photo, began at Beekeeper Group as an Intern. According to a release, “she played a critical role in building the systems, teams and events to take Beekeeper Group from a scrappy start-up to a thriving agency.” Levy will continue to lead talent and sales for Beekeeper Group and now has an expanded role in the company’s policies and growth. [**Brightfind**](https://c212.net/c/link/?t=0&l=en&o=3771870-1&h=1292069091&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.brightfind.com%2F&a=Brightfind&ref=capitolcommunicator.com)**, Silver Spring, MD, announced it has integrated services with Ready North**, based in Cleveland, and the two companies will offer augmented services in the form of custom, full-service marketing projects. Ready North and Brightfind are sister companies under Blue Cypress.

[**DG Public Relations in Ashburn, VA**](http://dalygray.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com)**, announced the death of company co-founder David “Jerry” Daly** due to complications arising from aspiration pneumonia. Daly founded Daly Gray Public Relations, LLC, the predecessor of DG Public Relations, LLC, in 1987\. During his career at that company, he was directly responsible for and/or oversaw multiple industry milestones: the first hotel crisis communications plan; the first hotel property-level Twitter campaign; the launch of more than a dozen hotel brands; the industry white paper on paper clip REITs; empowering women and minorities through hiring, mentorship, and educational programs; winning more than 50 international, national, and regional awards, including the Silver Anvil and four Golden Quills; and hosting the first world-wide employee meeting via satellite. He also took great pride in being named Honorary Duck Master at the Peabody Hotel and winning a lifetime achievement award at the 20th annual Lodging Conference in Phoenix, Ariz.
