# D.C.-Area Agency Updates: Chris Lester, Brian Kelley and Awards to AgencyQ

**Chris Lester, above, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of CHIEF, joins** [**Taoti**](https://taoti.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) **as Chief Creative Officer**. The move comes as, states a release, Taoti looks to evolve its brand and spin up a new events and experiential marketing division. Brent Lightner, Taoti’s Founder and CEO said, “Chris has been the driving force behind the enviable brand and work put out by Agency CHIEF. They’ve always been on the top of my list of formidable competitors. The notion of Chris bringing his creative vision to Team Taoti is an almost surreal moment for us, but one that will be transformative as we look to level-up our own brand and work.”

**Brian Kelley joins** [**Bluetext**](https://www.bluetext.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) **as Vice President Public Relations.** He had been with Sage Communications for more than seven years.

[**AgencyQ**](https://www.agencyq.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) **was named a Gold and Silver Award winner** of the 17th Annual Davey Awards. The awards recognize AgencyQ’s work on the American Nurses Association (ANA) Covid-19 Resource Center website, which provides up-to-the-minute information, resources, and support for nurses responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. AgencyQ was selected for awards in the following categories:

- Gold Award: Crisis Communications for Websites
- Silver Award: Associations for Websites
