# D.C.-area agency updates: HudsonLake, Brunswick Group and Zeno Group

[**HudsonLake**](https://hudsonlake.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com)**, Alexandria, VA, adds Jim Scott Polsinelli as Chief Creative Officer.** Polsinelli, states a release, “is a highly respected creative leader with expertise overseeing high-stakes public affairs, communications and advertising campaigns for Fortune 100 companies, associations and non-profits. Polsinelli’s appointment marks a pivotal moment in HudsonLake’s continued growth and underscores its commitment to delivering innovative solutions and unparalleled results.” Polsinelli joins HudsonLake with more than 25 years of industry experience, having previously held leadership roles at other leading firms including Marathon Strategies, DDC Public Affairs, Booz Allen Hamilton and Ogilvy Worldwide.

**Joel Malina, who was Cornell’s VP-university relations, plans to join** [**Brunswick Group**](https://www.brunswickgroup.com/home/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) as a partner on Feb. 3, reports [O’Dwyer’s](https://www.odwyerpr.com/story/public/22235/2024-12-05/cornells-malina-moves-brunswick-group.html?ref=capitolcommunicator.com). Based in D.C., Malina will counsel Brunswick’s education, foundation and health clients on PA, issues, reputation management, media relations and crisis management.At Cornell, Malina served as spokesperson, oversaw internal/external communications and managed relationships with federal, state and local policymakers. Earlier, he was CEO & GM of Wexler & Walker Public Policy Associates, the former D.C. public affairs and lobbying powerhouse. He spent 21 years there, holding various senior posts before assuming the helm.

[**Zeno Group**](http://www.zenogroup.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) **appoints Erin Mantz as Vice President of Marketing.** In this role, she will manage the agency’s brand reputation, thought leadership and media relations. Most recently, Mantz served as Vice President of Employee Engagement at Zeno. Prior to Zeno, Mantz held communications roles at Amazon, Meta, Lockheed Martin, LiveHealthier and America Online, among others.
