[**Weber Shandwick**](https://www.webershandwick.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) **adds Chris Harris** as Vice President, Public Affairs and Social Impact. Most recently, Harris, above, served as Senate Communications Director & Senior Advisor to Vice President Kamala Harris. Based in D.C., his role will involve senior counsel for clients on navigating the complex public affairs environment at the intersection of business, purpose and social issues. In addition to his recent Senate work, Harris served for four years as the Communications Director to Chris Murphy (D-Conn.). Additionally, he served in the communications office of Senator Mark Udall (DColo.), including as lead spokesperson and communications strategist for the Udall for Colorado reelection campaign. Harris also worked at American Bridge 21st Century and Media Matters for America.
