# D.C. Communicator Updates: Blair Jackson, Leigh George and The AD Agency

**Blair Jackson joined the American Health Care Association** in D.C. as VP of public affairs for the trade group of nursing homes and assisted living providers, reports O’Dwyer’s. Jackson, continued the O’Dwyer’s report, was VP/corporate communications for nursing home giant Golden Living, based in Plano, Tex., and assistant VP for PR at CVSHealth predecessor AdvancePCS; plus he did stints at Arc Worldwide (group supervisor), Golin (president and Philadelphia GM), Rogers & Cowan, FleishmanHillard and Burson-Marsteller.

**Leigh George** is profiled in Washingtonian’s MOM’s magazine. The full-page article notes that she is one of only a handful of people in the country with a PhD in branding history and theory. Current, she is director of marketing at URAC, described as the leader in accreditation for pharmacy, case management and health plans; and has worked at Social@Ogilvy and R2integrated.
