AAF Baltimore’s Google Data Studio Training with Lunametrics

Join the AAF Baltimore as we host a day of Google Workshops with LunaMetrics. In the morning we will host a Google Analytics course aimed at helping you brush up or get started on your understanding and implementation of Analytics. This is a great course as a stand alone or as the foundation for the afternoon Google Data Studio Workshop.

In the afternoon we will have a second class that takes the basic understanding of Google Analytics and teaches you how to take it to the next level as you make sense of your organization’s data. From the foundations of visualization to the specifics of using Data Studio’s advanced tools, you will learn to create impressive, polished reports in one of Google’s newest products.

Google Analytics 101/Refresher

Course Overview:

Join us at our Google Analytics training as we dig in and explore ways to use Google Analytics to gather more meaningful data, analyze it better and make your website perform. From basic definitions to event tracking to cross-domain tracking, we’ve got you covered.

You will become familiar with basic navigation of the Google Analytics interface. We’ll explore the most important reports inside GA, covering data related to audience demographics, how your users arrived on your website, and what content they viewed. We’ll also discuss how to extend reports to pull out additional insight, beyond what just the standard reports can provide. We’ll touch on audience segmentation and spend some time reviewing the fundamental metrics and dimensions that are most important for analysis.

Course Overview

Carefully balancing theory and practice, you’ll spend most of the day in an interactive and collaborative workshop focused on the new Google Data Studio offering. By the end of the workshop you will leave with professional, completed reports for your website!

This course is designed for marketers, analysts and anyone who relies on communicating actionable data. Google Analytics data will be used for this course. You do not need to have your own Google Analytics account in order to participate, however, we do recommend a basic understanding of Google Analytics.

A laptop with WiFi capability and Google Chrome is required for the workshop portion of this course. Experience with programming or graphic design is not needed.

•Customizing and styling Data Studio reports
•Sharing reports and collaborating with others
•Pulling in data from Google Analytics
