Social Media: Staying on Message and on Brand

How do you keep up when the social media landscape continuously evolves and algorithms constantly change? Facebook changed its algorithm in a way that makes it harder for your content to be seen. Twitter announced a new platform that allows users to upload longer videos. Snapchat users now outnumber Twitter users. These are only examples of the changing landscape. Organizations must re-evaluate their strategy to ensure they are reaching their audiences on the right platforms. As new networks continue to emerge—reaching different audiences with different needs—communications professionals need to understand how to evaluate what networks will make them most effective, while staying on brand and maximizing limited resources.
