# Focused Image acquires Blue Atlas Interactive

[**Focused Image**](https://www.focusedimage.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com)**, a branding, marketing, digital and PR firm based in Fairfax, VA, acquired** [**Blue Atlas Interactive**](https://www.blueatlas.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com)**,** a web-based software strategy and hosting solutions company based in Germantown, MD.

According to a release, the acquisition of Blue Atlas “enhances the innovative and impactful solutions that Focused Image offers by evolving its technical capabilities, particularly in the areas of mobile app development, data dashboards, web application programming interfaces, web security and website hosting.”

“In an increasingly digital world, it’s essential to keep advancing your capabilities and scale. Just as our B2G and B2B clients are constantly innovating and improving to support their missions, so are we,” said **Toby Eckhardt,** pictured above, CEO and chief creative officer of Focused Image. “We’re looking forward to supporting our clients with an even more comprehensive suite of digital marketing services expanded by Blue Atlas, a talented and trusted partner of ours for well over 15 years.”

The acquisition of Blue Atlas, continues the release, “enhances the innovative and impactful solutions that Focused Image offers by evolving its technical capabilities, particularly in the areas of mobile app development, data dashboards, web application programming interfaces, web security and website hosting.”

“We’ve been fortunate to work with Focused Image on many client projects over the years, something that isn’t often said in this industry,” said **LuAnne Bell,** owner of Blue Atlas and now vice president, web services of Focused image.

The transaction is effective February 1, 2025\. Both companies are privately held and financial transaction details have not been announced.
