**Veteran Baltimore broadcaster Jamie Costello** has found his way back to storytelling, joining CosTELLo YOUR STORY, the Annapolis-based video production company founded by his wife **Cheryl Costello**.

The move comes after Costello’s departure from WSSC Water, a water and wastewater utility serving Prince George’s and Montgomery counties, where he served as Video Producer and Public Information Officer.

During his 37-year tenure at WMAR-TV, he served as co-anchor of the 5, 6, and 11 p.m. newscasts, becoming a familiar face to Baltimore viewers. Beyond the anchor desk, he was known for reporting and active community involvement, frequently serving as an emcee for charitable organizations. He retired from the ABC affiliate in June and soon after joined WSSC Water.

The broadcaster’s new role at [CosTELLo YOUR STORY](https://www.costelloyourstory.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) reunites him professionally with his wife Cheryl, who launched the video production company in early 2024\. The company specializes in creating video content for businesses, drawing on Cheryl’s own two decades of experience in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. newsrooms, including WJLA-TV in D.C. and WMAR-TV in Baltimore. The company is a certified women’s business enterprise and Cheryl has a license to fly a drone.

“Through powerful storytelling, I can help you connect with your audience on a deeper level and drive awareness and action,” Cheryl Costello said at the company’s launch, emphasizing their focus on brand-focused video content, including promotional videos, event coverage, interview coaching, explainer videos, and customer testimonials.

In a video posted on Facebook, Jamie Costello announced his return to storytelling:

“What Cheryl has been doing has made me kind of jealous. She’s been meeting great people, telling great stories and I want to be part of that, so I’m going to join forces with her in this business,” Jamie Costello says in the video. “I don’t want to leave great stories on the side of the road. I’m going to tell your story. Let’s do it together.”
