– The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), in partnership with LMO Advertising, launched an advocacy campaign to urge supporters of benefits for military retirees to challenge Congress to repeal the latest legislative budget cuts to Cost of Living Adjustments. With the support of a vocal community that included MOAA and its members, both the House and the Senate voted to repeal the cuts. The week-long campaign leveraged the use of Twitter’s trending hashtag #KeepYourPromise to drive engagement. It garnered a 100 percent increase in mentions of MOAA on Twitter each day of the campaign and prompted 161 citizens to express their concerns to Congress.

– Hager Sharp added Aaron Murphy as vice president and digital design director. With expertise in user-centric web and mobile app design, multimedia content creation and storytelling, web development, social media marketing and strategy, and digital advertising, Murphy brings over 15 years of digital acumen to Hager Sharp. Previously, Murphy was a founding member of the award-winning Social@Ogilvy offering and a six-year veteran of the agency, where he was vice president and associate creative director in the social media practice.

– Maroon PR promoted Kristen Seabolt and Eve Hemsley to senior account executives and developed four divisions – Sports; Lifestyle & Outdoors; Growing Business; and Hospitality & Entertainment. Seabolt will oversee the Lifestyle & Outdoors division, while Hemsley will lead the Growing Business division. The Sports division will be led by Senior Account Executive Katy Ford. Additionally, Senior Account Executive Monique Ianos will oversee the Hospitality & Entertainment division.
