# In the Spotlight: Maria Rodriguez, Nyree Wright and Erica Malouf

[**Maria Rodriguez,**](https://www.linkedin.com/in/mariarodriguezvc/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) **President & CEO, Vanguard Communications,** shown above, has been elected to a three-year communicator seat on the board of the National Press Club. According to the National Press Club, The Board of Governors is the governing body of the Club. The business and affairs of the Club are managed by or under the direction of the Board. The Board of Governors shall adopt rules for the conduct of the members of the Club and create an environment that supports the goals and purpose of the institution. The other two Board of Governors Communicators are Karen Addis, *Addis Communications, and Debra Silimeo, Silimeo Group.*

[**Nyree Wright,** ](https://www.linkedin.com/in/nyreewright/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com)**Executive Vice President, Crisis & Risk Communications at Edelman,** has been inducted into the [Rutgers African-American Alumni Alliance.](https://www.linkedin.com/in/rutgers-african-american-alumni-alliance-inc-raaa-89620b320/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com)at its 22nd Annual Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony. According to Wright, the evening “was magical, surrounded by my family, friends and village. Equally moving was observing the generational black excellence that has and continues to flow through Rutgers University today.” 

[**Erica Malouf**](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ericaannmalouf/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) **joins Salta With Us as Marketing Director and Strategist.** According to a release, she is a “senior digital marketer with a sharp mind for strategy and a passion for creative work that actually moves people.” In this new role, continues the release, she will guide “he continued growth of Salta’s marketing practice—bringing a strategic edge to the fast-moving world of content and campaigns.”
