# Maryland News: Mitchell Leaves Weitzman; WebbMason Acquires Spry; Merkle Adds Three

**After more than 10 years at Weitzman** in Annapolis, agency president **Margriet Mitchell** announced via social media that she has “decided to move on and explore new opportunities.”

**Hunt Valley’s WebbMason Marketing has completed its acquisition of Spry, Inc.**, an analytics firm based in Sparks, Md. with expertise in big data, data science and data operations. CEO **Warner Mason** said that Spry, Inc. CEO **Brooke Jones** now is president of WebbMason Analytics.

**Merkle in Columbia** announced the appointment of three senior members to its media services team: **Mac Delaney**, head of programmatic; **Serge Del Grosso**, vice president, media services; and **Rory O’Flaherty**, senior director, media services.
