# Maryland Updates: News from The Cyphers Agency; Zest Social Media; Planit and Adashmore Creative

**In Annapolis, integrated marketing firm The Cyphers Agency** announced two new hires to serve in account services and creative roles: **Brianne Palensky**, left, joins as account coordinator with responsibilities including social media marketing, search engine optimization, blog development, client content development and account management. **Brandon Arnold**, right, joins from DirectMail.com as web designer/developer.

Zest Social Media in Towson announced that **Boo Entwistle** has joined as a graphic designer.

In Howard County, The Horizon Foundation hired **Olivia Doherty** as director of communications. She was previously senior director of communications with The Hatcher Group, a firm with offices in Bethesda, Baltimore and Annapolis.

Planit in Baltimore announced that **Trish McClean** has joined the agency as director of account planning. In her new role, McClean will oversee the development of Planit’s strategic marketing plans and the integration of communication tools.

Adashmore Creative in Timonium hired **Brittany Guy** as creative manager to “contribute to and oversee all creative deliverables.”
