**The latest DC Lottery advertising campaign by** [**MDB Communications**](http://www.mdbcomm.com/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) highlights how everyday people become lottery winners.

Washington-based MDB Communications, long-time agency-of-record for the DC Lottery, developed the new advertising that broke Dec. 21\. The :30 TV and online commercials feature charming stories featuring real DC Lottery winners.

“When people win the lottery, they’re happy. But it’s more than just a lot of jumping up and down. Every person has an interesting story. We wanted to capture those in a way that made for great human interest commercials.” explained **Richard M. Coad**, chief creative officer for MDB Communications, a Capitol Communicator sponsor.

“Lots of people win the DC Lottery. By sharing real stories of people who really won, we continue to demonstrate that.” said **Tracey Cohen**, executive director of the DC Lottery.
