# New for 2026: “Capitol Communicators” Profiles

**I’m fascinated by the wealth of talent we have here,** and the people who are shaping public relations, advertising, marketing and digital strategy locally, nationally and internationally, all from our Capitol region. That’s why I’m happy to join with Capitol Communicator to launch a series of profiles spotlighting the leaders who are redefining what it means to connect, persuade, and inspire in a rapidly-evolving landscape. And we all know, ‘rapidly evolving’ is an understatement! In recognition of the longstanding role that Capitol Communicator has played in tracking the highs and lows of the communications community, we are calling the new series “Capitol Communicators.”

Each profile will feature insights and advice from one of our area’s top communicators.

We’ll ask big questions, such as:

- What do they see as the biggest changes in 2026?
- What advice do they have for rising professionals?
- What keeps them up at night — and what brings them joy?

I hope they will also share some personal insights. None of us get to the top without challenges and scars. Real leaders learn from them. We can, too.

So join me over the next few months, and you’ll meet some of the most interesting and insightful pros in our region, learn how they stay ahead of the curve, and pick up practical wisdom for thriving in a time of constant change. I welcome your ideas on WHO we should be talking with, and what you’d like to know.
