# Caroline Sar named NGA’s Manager of Marketing and Member Engagement

[**The National Grocers Association**](https://www.nationalgrocers.org/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com), representing the independent supermarket industry, has appointed [Caroline Sar](https://www.linkedin.com/in/carolineesar/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) its Manager of Marketing and Member Engagement.

Sar, who brings experience as a project manager, operations analyst and digital marketing analyst, joins the NGA communications team in Washington, D.C., according to a release. Her responsibilities include developing and coordinating marketing strategies across the association, managing NGA’s websites, and creating marketing materials to engage with NGA members.

A native of North Carolina, Sar is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a bachelor’s degree in economics, with minors in sociology and communications.
