**Politics and policy publication *The Hill* has named former Twitter and Google executive Peter D. Greenberger its publisher, reports MediaPost.**

The MediaPost post added that Greenberger will report to **Richard D. Beckman**, president of *The Hill,* which is based in Washington, D.C*.*

“In an era of toxic political media coverage, *The Hill* stands alone as a uniquely bipartisan pillar of the media landscape,” stated Greenberger. “I’m honored at this important time to help lead the commercial charge for this iconic brand.”

He succeeds **Jack Rotherham**, who was tapped just last year to serve as *The Hill’s* publisher.
