New work … and a new holiday known as “First Wednesday”.

Storyfarm has partnered with Taoti Creative and the DC Lottery to produce TV spots to kick off this new campaign. Shot over two days in October in DC, “New In Town” is the first of two spots launching the campaign.

What’s so special about “First Wednesday”? New scratchers from the DC Lottery arrive on the first Wednesday of every month. So, heads up! December’s first Wednesday will be here before you know it.

Find your favorite coin, credit card, toothpick, guitar pick, nail file or key and get ready for new scratchers, new prizes and new chances to win.

According to the DC Lottery, this new, fictional holiday “has even inspired some DC residents to wish one another a  “Happy First Wednesday.”  So celebrate this month, and every month, with the newest scratchers from DC Lottery.”

Since DC Lottery’s inception in 1982, it has contributed more than $2.3B to the District’s General Fund, helping to provide essential support services throughout the city.
