**The 50th Super Bowl is set for Sunday,** but there already may be a winner: It’s CBS.

A 30-second Super Bowl ad is selling for as much as $5 million, the network president and chief executive **Leslie Moonves** said during an earnings call in 2015.

[Fortune](http://fortune.com/2015/08/06/super-bowl-ad-cost/?ref=capitolcommunicator.com) reported that’s 11% higher than the base price of $4.5 million that NBC charged advertisers during the previous Super Bowl, according to ESPN. Between 2005 and 2014, the price of a 30-spot has increased 75%, generating a total of $2.19 billion in sales.
