**Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin has many talents**, but pizza and comedy may be further down the list than hockey, scoring goals, and iconic, toothy grins, reports CBSDC.

According to CBSDC, as part of a new partnership with Papa John’s Pizza, Ovechkin stars in a commercial where he describes a love for delivering pizza that brought him to America. The basic premise is that no matter how much he wanted to be a star delivery expert, his love for eating pizza always won out.

As a result, he had to settle for hockey.
