More than 300 people are expected at the 2016 American Advertising Awards DC Gala, Friday, March 18, at the Newseum.
The theme of the evening gala is “Advolution,” and will feature a fun, retrospective look at the history of advertising over the past 50 years. You will enjoy perusing the gallery of Addy finalists, a cocktail reception, iconic TV spokescharacters in costume interacting with attendees, a rocking DJ, a multi-media presentation on a forty-foot video screen, ticker animation, gobos, the ceremony to announce the 2016 American Advertising Award DC winners, and a festive post-ceremony reception.
The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
