The deadline to submit nominations for 2019 WWPR’s PR Woman of the Year award has been extended to August 23.

According to Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR), for the past three decades, the Washington PR Woman of the Year Award “has honored the most talented women in the industry. This year is especially important because it is our 30th anniversary. We hope that you will join us as we celebrate the honorees and achievements of those who have raised the bar in the profession. We will be sharing the Pearls of Wisdom from our previous honorees prior to and during the event.”

The WWPR Woman of the Year luncheon will be held November 15 at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, D.C. There will be a raffle and all proceeds from this event will go towards WWPR’s  2018-19 pro-bono client, The Sitar Arts Center. Their mission is to offer possibilities that transform the lives of children and teens born into a world of unequal access to opportunity.
