A (Dr.) Bear Hug of Holiday Cheer with Children’s National Hospital

Award-winning photographer Cade Martin photographed the Children’s National Hospital holiday campaign. He told Capitol Communicator that hundreds of kids spent the holidays in Children’s National. But “the generosity of donors brought patients and families hope, healing and holiday magic, as each donation lit up the hospital’s beloved mascot, Dr. Bear.

“I’ve been collaborating with Children’s National Hospital for a number of years now and I’ve consistently witnessed the relationship between the hospital and families, gaining a deeper understanding of the labor of love that drives both families and the amazing staff at Children’s.  I’m always grateful to experience and to capture some of the care, healing and love that drives this extraordinary place.
