The American Advertising Federation Baltimore is seeking new candidates from a variety of backgrounds for its Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee is accepting applications through Sunday, October 11, 2020.

“We’re looking for people from all walks of life who are enthusiastic about the Baltimore communications community – specifically people with creative, legal/legislative, client-side, social networking, media, PR backgrounds and more,” according to the call for candidates.

Board members fill a two-year term from January 1, 2021 until December 31, 2022. They share responsibility for the programs and fiscal integrity of the AAFB. Responsibilities include attending monthly Board meetings in person or by phone, chairing or participating in a committee, regularly reporting to the Board on committee activities, attending AAFB events, and representing the AAFB at other local industry events and programs.

Membership on the AAF Baltimore Board of Directors is an opportunity to shape policy, build strong relationships within the community, advocate for the industry and infuse a culture of access with focus on equity and diversity. It’s also an excellent opportunity to elevate your professional profile.
