AAF DC has canceled its 2020 American Advertising Awards Gala that was scheduled for March 19.

According to AAF DC: “Over the past few weeks, we have been closely monitoring and evaluating the situation around COVID-19 to ensure we are taking the necessary measures to protect the health and well-being of both our members and the general public who are planning to attend the American Advertising Awards Gala as well as our other events. As a result, we have made the difficult but important decision to cancel the live event next week.

“While we are disappointed that we will not be together in-person with the creative community this year, we are excited to host the Awards Show as an online experience. Details will be announced shortly.

“If you have purchased a ticket for the Gala, your refund will be processed shortly.”
