BCW announced that Aaron Guiterman has joined the agency as Executive Vice President, Market Leader, Washington, D.C., effective June 26. Guiterman will be responsible for client management, business growth in the market and developing new client-service offerings.
Guiterman brings more than 25 years of extensive experience in integrated corporate reputation, public affairs, and issues and crisis management across a broad range of industry verticals including technology, energy, manufacturing and aerospace, among many others, states a BCW release.
“Aaron has tremendous expertise across a variety of industries helping clients solve the most complex business challenges,” said Jeff Joseph, President, Mid-Atlantic and South, BCW North America, to whom Guiterman reports. “He will be an excellent partner to me and our North America Corporate Affairs Practice Leader, Dan Doherty, in reinforcing BCW’s leadership as the go-to agency for fully integrated corporate affairs work in Washington, D.C.”
Before joining BCW, Guiterman was Chairman, Energy & Industrials Policy, at Edelman Global Advisory, having previously served as Chief Innovation Officer and Global Digital Chairman. Before that he spent nine years with Edelman, including as Senior Adviser, Interim U.S. Chairman, U.S. Public Affairs; Executive Vice President, Head of Digital Public Affairs; and Senior Vice President, Group Director, Digital Strategy and Planning.
Before Edelman, he spent three years as Vice President, Digital Strategy with DDC Advocacy. Earlier in his career, he worked with Glover Park Group, McCann Erickson and Young & Rubicam Advertising. He started his career as an intern in the office of United States Senator Hank Brown of Colorado.
