Agencies and people in the news: Stratacomm, Better Together Agency and Spotted MP

Stratacomm announced a new executive leadership structure designed to further enhance the agency’s strategic focus and strengthen how teams deliver integrated marketing communications solutions for clients. The changes reflect the agency’s commitment to delivering smart strategy and measurable impact on every client engagement.

The transition formalizes new seats for managing partners Bill Buff, Kristi Tyll, John Fitzpatrick and Travis Austin, each moving from shared responsibility for daily operations into more defined leadership roles.

Bill Buff (pictured) now serves as chief executive officer and senior partner, guiding Stratacomm’s strategic direction, strengthening its culture of collaboration, and driving innovations that continuously elevate the agency’s value for clients.

Kristi Tyll is now chief client officer and senior partner, leading client leadership across the agency and setting the standards of excellence that drive consistent, high-quality outcomes across all client engagements.

John Fitzpatrick moves into the role of chief growth officer and senior partner, overseeing business development, marketing and partnerships, while continuing to offer client counsel in key areas.

Travis Austin becomes chief strategy officer and senior partner, leading agency-wide strategic planning and actionable insights that strengthen agency solutions across all practice areas.

To bring fresh perspective and broaden the agency’s expertise, Stratacomm also announced Darren Scher is joining the agency as chief operating and integration officer. Scher brings more than 20 years of experience leading creative teams, serving as a chief operating officer and ultimately chief executive officer at his former agency. He will lead the agency’s integrated service teams and enhance overall operations.

Stratacomm is establishing focused practice groups to champion our core agency offerings. Four current partners are assuming elevated roles to better tap their respective skillsets and deep subject‑matter expertise on behalf of our clients:

Jennifer Flanery, enterprise account lead and partner
Karah Davenport, corporate communications practice group lead and partner
Jacqueline Wilson, marketing practice group lead and partner
Charlotte Seigler, public affairs practice group lead and partner

Better Together Agency, a Black woman-founded, AI-forward communications agency, announced the launch of TogetherAI, a private communications and marketing AI platform built for small teams, nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and enterprise communications departments that are being asked to do more with less.

Unlike general-purpose AI tools, TogetherAI is trained exclusively on each client organization’s own documents, brand voice and institutional knowledge. Every output is automatically checked for bias before delivery. No prompting is required.

“Communications teams are being asked to do more with less every year,” said Catharine Montgomery, Founder and CEO, Better Together Agency. “TogetherAI is not a chatbot. It is a private AI that knows your organization, speaks in your voice and flags bias before your team ever sees the output. It is the infrastructure small teams have needed for years.”
