Agency Updates: Stratacomm, Banner Public Affairs and Continental Strategy

Stratacomm was awarded a single IDIQ contract for advertising, marketing and media support to continue helping create, run and measure public education campaigns with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). According to a release, Stratacomm was selected “after a competitive re-compete  process with a contract for up to five years and a ceiling amount of nearly $329 million, which includes media buying nationally and in targeted markets. This award is one of the largest federal contracts for marketing communications services and the largest by dollar value that is set aside for performance by a small business.”

Banner Public Affairs announced the formation of a dedicated Tax, Tariff and Trade Practice. Co-chaired by Banner Co-Founder and Partner, Jesse Appleton, and Banner Senior Vice President, Matt Bormet, this new division will provide clients with expert guidance to navigate trade complexities and tax reforms to advance their strategic goals under the administration’s forthcoming economic initiatives.  “Having served as a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Treasury Department under Secretary Hank Paulson and as a top policy advisor in the U.S. Senate, I understand the importance of favorable tax and trade policies that are essential for achieving success across a variety of industries,” said Appleton. “Under Banner’s new bipartisan practice, we will anticipate and respond to changes in policy, providing our clients with the insight and expertise needed to succeed under the new administration’s economic agenda.” As co-chair, Bormet provides over two decades of hands-on policy experience.

Continental Strategy is promoting Katie Wiles to serve as a Director in their Jacksonville and Washington, D.C., offices. In her expanded role, Wiles will continue her communications work while taking on lobbying and business development responsibilities in Continental’s Jacksonville and Washington, D.C., offices. Before joining Continental Strategy, Wiles served as Director of Communications for Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry where she spearheaded key public relations initiatives and managed high-profile communications.
