Amanda Yeager returns to Baltimore Business Journal as Managing Editor

The Baltimore Business Journal has appointed Amanda Yeager as its new managing editor, marking her return to the publication where she previously covered the dining and hospitality beat for five years.
Yeager rejoins the BBJ from The Baltimore Sun, where she served as the newspaper’s dining reporter for the past two years. She assumes the role previously held by Jessica Iannetta, who was recently promoted to editor-in-chief following Joanna Sullivan‘s move to parent company American City Business Journals.
A veteran journalist with extensive experience covering Maryland, Yeager’s career includes stints as a government reporter for the Capital Gazette in Annapolis and as a government and development reporter for The Baltimore Sun’s Howard County coverage. Major events she covered during her time there include the shooting at the Mall in Columbia, the 2014 election, the once-a-decade land rezoning process and a cover-up of mold issues in the Howard County school system.
