Bethesda, MD-based August Jackson, a brand communications agency, will acquire P.W. Feats, Inc., a Baltimore event strategy, design, and production firm specializing in higher education engagement. The Feats Higher Education Practice at August Jackson will operate as a stand-alone entity within the agency, drawing on the resources of the combined company to service its roster of many of the nation’s most respected colleges and universities.
Founded in 1985 by Paul Wolman, Feats has grown in the past decade by focusing on the higher education sector. The company currently works with many of the top private and public universities in the United States, partnering with them to launch comprehensive fundraising campaigns, recognize leadership transitions, and mark milestone anniversaries. According to a release, these occasions present opportunities to create unique experiences and special events, but also require tailored communications strategies and creative messaging platforms. Feats has evolved its service offering to meet these needs, and its 36 employees bring diverse skills in design, communications, production, fabrication, and more to bear on client engagements.
