Baltimore/Chesapeake Customer Experience Group Launches

by | Aug 3, 2018

Communications professionals were among those in attendance at the launch of the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) Baltimore/Chesapeake Network on Aug. 3 in Annapolis.

Organizers Ed Bodensiek, of customer experience firm Cravety, and Greg Derwart, managing director for the State of Maryland’s Department of Commerce and the state’s customer experience leader, welcomed the group at the meeting held at Level.

“We had a super turnout and mix of verticals, but most of all, great humans,” Bodensiek said.

Derwart and Bodensiek will announce a planning committee as well as CX Day in Maryland set for Oct. 2, 2018.

Founded in 2011, the Customer Experience Professionals Association is the premier global non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and cultivation of the Customer Experience profession. The CXPA supports the professional development of its members and advances the field by providing shared best practices and education, developing standards, offering networking opportunities, promoting the industry, and creating a better understanding of the discipline of Customer Experience.

Wow! That sounds like an interesting group. I’ve heard Ed B speak before. Should be quite a dynamic group, I’d think. I’ll keep my eyes and ears open for folks who might be a good fit to join.
