The Baltimore Ravens and Verizon Wireless have teamed up to launch a city-wide Pass It Forward campaign in Baltimore. According to a release, “during the season-long program, current and alumni Ravens players, cheerleaders and the team mascot will surprise Baltimoreans with random acts of kindness at various locations across the city. The goal is to create a positive social movement to encourage everyone to pass kindness forward. Baltimoreans will also be encouraged to share their own personal random acts of kindness using the hashtags #VerizonBAL and #RavensFlock.”
The campaign will include events throughout the regular season, running through December of this year. During each stop, representatives from Verizon and the Ravens will undertake a variety of activities, including giveaways, signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
“The Baltimore Ravens have a strong commitment to making a difference in our community. Pass It Forward is a great opportunity to inspire more kindness and generosity in the Baltimore region,” said Dick Cass, president of the Baltimore Ravens.
“Verizon Wireless is proud to partner with the Baltimore Ravens to create moments of kindness in the communities in which we live and work. We hope this campaign will inspire Baltimoreans to pass it forward to others throughout the Baltimore community,” said Roger Tang, president – South East Market for Verizon.
