Baltimore Sun dissolves features department, reassigns staff to news

The Baltimore Sun has eliminated its features department. According to the Baltimore Sun Guild, this is the first time since at least 1888 the newspaper won’t have even one reporter dedicated to covering the city’s cultural life. The Guild issued a news release, below, and a link to a letter that readers can send to Sun owners David Smith and Armstrong Williams.
