Baltimore updates: senior leadership appointments at imre; new hires at Warschawski and Sage Growth Partners

imre announced two key appointments to its senior leadership team. Machelle Henks is appointed Executive Vice President of Strategy and Shannon Moylan as Senior Vice President of Public Relations.

Henks is a veteran marketing and communications strategist of over 20 years with diverse strategy experience spanning life sciences companies across multiple therapeutic categories. She previously held strategy leadership positions at EVERSANA INTOUCH, WPP, Eurofins, Bayer and Teva Pharmaceuticals.  She will report to Anna Kotis, president of imre.

Moylan also brings more than 20 years of agency experience to her new post. Over her career, she has demonstrated a passion for growing high-performing teams in the health PR space at major holding companies. A seasoned client counselor, she will report to Stephanie Friess, Executive Vice President of Earned.

They both join imre’s Senior Leadership Team that includes Vice President of Media, Caroline Allie, Vice President of Interactive, Philip Marcheck, Vice President of Finance / Controller, Shannon Palmer and Vice President of Growth, Ellen Trimboli.

Jessi Fanshaw

Warschawski announced the promotion of Jessi Fanshaw to associate director of data strategy. In her new role, Fanshaw will oversee SEO, collection, analysis, and utilization of data to optimize digital marketing campaigns and strategies. She joined Warschawski in 2021 as a senior digital strategist.

She has led SEO, research, data collection and analysis to identify trends and optimize campaigns for the agency’s clients, including: CFG Bank, Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation, Charm Aviation, The Ridge Senior Living, Gallop Growth, Biologics Consulting, Samuelson’s Diamonds, and others.

Katy Gathright has been hired as an Account Group Director at Sage Growth Partners in Baltimore. Prior to joining the agency, she was most recently a Writing Seminars Graduate Student at John Hopkins University and also worked as an Ultimate Novel Writing Course Moderator with Jericho Writers. She has previously worked as the marketing director for GiveCampus and Wellness Corporate Solutions, now powered by Labcorp. She was also an associate at Bully Pulpit Interactive, a digital communications firm.

Also at Sage, Tom Sullivan joins as Senior Director of Editorial Services. An accomplished editor and writer, he was most recently Editor-in-Chief and head of content for League, a leading healthcare consumer experience platform, and prior to that was the Editor-in-Chief for Health Evolution. He has also held prior editor positions with HIMSS Media, Healthcare IT News, and IDG’s InfoWorld.
