Behind the Portrait: Andy Cohen & Diane Hoskins for Gensler

Award-winning photographer Cade Martin reports that he had the pleasure of photographing Andy Cohen and Diane Hoskins, the Global Co-Chairs of Gensler, for the firm’s recently released book, Design for a Radically Changing World. The book, states Cade Martin,  “explores how design can help solve some of today’s biggest challenges, from climate change and inequality to the future of our cities and communities.

“We spent the day in Phoenix – it was bright, beautiful, and hot. To keep things moving smoothly, we had multiple lighting setups ready to go so we could stay efficient and make the most of our time.

“What stood out right away was how in sync Andy and Diane are. After nearly 20 years of co-leading Gensler, the world’s largest architecture and design firm, they brought a natural ease, and that connection came through effortlessly in our time spent together and in the photographs.

“At its heart, Design for a Radically Changing World is about hope, responsibility, and the belief that design can create lasting, meaningful change.”
