Brandon Ruth, AAF Baltimore board member, dies at 43

Brandon Richard Ruth, board member with AAF Baltimore, died following a three-year battle with leukemia at age 43.

A Towson University graduate, his love for music led him start a band, a music festival and contribute to the Baltimore music scene. He was an avid collector and sports lover, and loved sharing his passions with friends and family.

AAF Baltimore shared the following tribute on Facebook:

Brandon was a valued member of the AAF Baltimore Board, giving his time and talents in service to our creative community. He also served as Director of Account Management at the Maryland State Ad Agency, a division of Maryland Public Television, where he led statewide public service campaigns on issues ranging from health to civic engagement. His strategic leadership and creative vision helped bring important messages to millions of Marylanders, earning both industry recognition and lasting community impact.

Even when health challenges required him to step back, Brandon remained committed until the very last moment he could. His dedication, kindness, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
