Buzz in Baltimore: News from Jellyfish, Fastspot, Marriner, Warschawski, MGH and More

Jellyfish Online Marketing announced that Jim Hamilton, previously vice president and managing director for iCrossing, has been named managing director, head of U.S. agency. Operating from Jellyfish’s U.S. headquarters in Baltimore, Hamilton will head the Baltimore, New York and San Francisco offices. At iCrossing, he oversaw the agency’s New York City and Washington D.C. offices.

Weber Shandwick has promoted Phill Yerby to account supervisor and Kara Joyce to account executive, both in its Baltimore office.

IMG_1281-CC_cropFastspot completed a redesign of Yale’s website, which debuted following a year-long project involving outreach to faculty, staff and both current and prospective students. The project was coordinated by Yale’s Office of Public Affairs and Communications in partnership with Yale’s Information Technology Services.

Fallston Group, LLC appointed L. Content McLaughlin as vice president and general counsel. While serving in her new role at Fallston Group, McLaughlin will maintain her niche law practice which recently relocated to the Fallston Group’s office in Bel Air, Md.

Warschawski announced the addition of Sam Ruchlewicz as an associate, joining from Hamilton Development Partners in Pennsylvania where, as a partner, he developed strategic communications plans and headed business development.

MGH is now agency of record for Sunshine 811 – a private, not-for-profit corporation created by the state of Florida that educates excavators and homeowners on the call-811-before-you-dig process and provides the free system excavators use to notify utilities of intended digging. MGH will handle media buying and planning.

Also at MGH, three employees have joined and two are promoted. The new employees are Ryan Maloney, digital media specialist; Kim Short, public relations account executive; and Allison Randall, senior interactive art director. Promotions include Lindsey Halpin to account director and Marah Schmitz to account manager
