Baltimore’s Planit announced that Jessica Brown has been promoted to digital creative director and will oversee a cross-disciplinary team of “motion designers, art directors and UI experts.” In making the announcement, Planit co-founder Ed Callahan said the agency more than doubled its revenue in the past three years, “with digital creative work being a driver of that success.”
MGH in Owings Mills has launched a new advertising campaign for client Ocean City, Maryland. The creative features “spokesguard” Rodney, demonstrating how to have fun “downy oshun.” The campaign includes new TV commercials, billboards, an interactive game and more. The commercials, which started airing the first week of May, feature Rodney and his pal (a rescue mannequin) demonstrating ways to enjoy a vacation in Ocean City.
Devaney & Associates, Inc. announced that Casey Boccia has been promoted to creative director. Casey has worked as the agency’s senior copywriter since 2011 when she joined Devaney from the former Carton Donofrio Partners.
David Rehkemper has joined Stanley Black & Decker in Towson as media manager. Previously, he operated Rad Ads, LLC, providing freelance marketing services including media planning and buying, search marketing and online advertising.
