Baltimore Style magazine named Betsy Boyd, left, as editor-in-chief, replacing Jessica Bizik who has moved on as a consultant and freelancer, according to a report in The Sun. Boyd has worked at Style as freelance senior editor for the past year. January 2016 will be her first issue as editor and she will continue working with the Baltimore Fishbowl as literary editor.
Warschawski announced that it has been hired by GTB: Global Telecom to help revamp its strategic brand positioning. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The telecommunications service provider is headquartered in Owings Mills. Also at Warschawski, Maddie Slezak joins as a junior associate.
Bonnie Heneson Communications promoted Andrew Aldrich to vice president of public relations. His responsibilities include developing and executing media plans, working with clients and media outlets to publicize client news, and publications copywriting. Previously, Aldrich was director of media relations for BHC. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, he served in the public information office of the Carroll County government.
Nancy Rowe, right, joins Milestone Sports as vice president of marketing and communications where she will be responsible for driving demand and awareness for the company’s flagship consumer product, MilestonePod, as well as the wearable-driven loyalty program, MilestoneConnect. Prior to joining Milestone, she served in global marketing roles at PUMA and SRAM and spent nearly a decade with NIKE.
Ainsley & Co. hired Britney Lukowski as a graphic designer. She joins from CHA Consulting in Chantilly, Va. where she was e-marketing specialist and graphic designer.
