Buzz in Baltimore: Planit to Create ‘Sausage Aficionados’; MGH Tapped by Weight Loss Company

by | Aug 21, 2016

Planit has teamed up with Hofmann Brands as its PR agency of record. Planit will promote the Syracuse-based brand and support its retail expansion into new markets nationwide through message development, creative public relations campaigns, new partnerships and events.

According to a press release, Planit kicked off the relationship by publicizing the opening of Hofmann Brands’ new corporate office in Baltimore. “We’re excited to formally join Hofmann Brands’ ‘Sausage Brigade’ and turn the iconic brand into a household name,” said Sarah Quackenbush, director of client engagement at Planit. The agency will also support the launch of new products, including the company’s Handwich brand featuring Hofmann Brands franks and sausages wrapped in artisanal brioche or pretzel rolls (pictured). “We are on a mission to expand beyond our Syracuse roots and create a nation of sausage aficionados,” said Reginald Bailey, CEO of Hofmann Brands.

MGH has been named agency of record for CoreLife, a comprehensive weight-loss program managed by a specialized team of professionals. The agency will provide a variety of marketing services, including social media management and advertising, research and public relations. CoreLife, based in Severna Park, has six locations in Maryland (Bowie, Odenton, Owings Mills, Pasadena, Severna Park and Timonium), with plans for expansion.
