Buzz in Baltimore: Ravens’ Kevin Byrne to Talk Crisis Communications and Ray Rice; Sinclair Launches Digital Investment Division; ‘Political Connecting’ in Annapolis

Kevin Byrne, senior vice president of public and community relations for the Baltimore Ravens, will discuss crisis communications and the Ray Rice controversy at Loyola University Maryland on April 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. Learn more and register at the PRSA Maryland website.

Hunt Valley based Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. has launched Sinclair Digital Ventures, a division that will invest in emerging digital technologies and digital content companies. The division will be overseen by David Amy, Sinclair’s COO, Chris Ripley, Sinclair’s CFO, and Rob Weisbord, Chief Operating Officer, Sinclair Digital Group.
