Buzz in Baltimore: Vision Technologies Helping Ravens; New Client for Clapp; Gilbert to Lead Strategy at R2i

Vision Technologies, Inc. of Glen Burnie is the official Audio-Visual Partner of the Baltimore Ravens for the second year. As a Ravens partner, Vision has delivered a series of upgrades at M&T Bank Stadium and recently completed an upgrade for the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills. In addition, Vision’s Security practice has helped to ensure the safety and security of M&T Bank Stadium. AV systems installed for the Performance Center include an auditorium, executive huddle rooms, meeting rooms, conference rooms, and common-area digital signage. Charles Crawford is Vision’s AV Practice Manager.

Clapp Communications announced Welcome One Emergency Shelter as its newest client for public relations, marketing and event services. The Clapp team will support the homeless shelter’s expansion and ribbon cutting in the Riverside Business Park, slated for summer 2019. The only full-service, year-round emergency homeless shelter in Harford County, Welcome One provides and advocates for services designed to reduce the incidence and burdens of homelessness. “Welcome One makes a real difference to the people that stay in their shelter as well as the Harford County community,” said Barb Clapp, president and CEO of Clapp Communications.

R2i, an independent digital marketing agency based in Baltimore, announced the appointment of Mary Gilbert as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Account Services. Gilbert joined R2i earlier this year to help spearhead the company’s West Coast client strategy and growth initiatives. In this new role, Gilbert will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of client relationships. With over 25 years of experience, Gilbert has built and led professional services firms into high-value growth engines with a results-oriented focus. Gilbert has held significant leadership roles at global agencies such as McCann Worldgroup and FCB, leading integrated strategies for global Fortune 100 clients like Microsoft, eBay, LG and Facebook. She has also worked for boutique consulting firms, helping rapidly growing SMBs in highly technical markets scale high-performing in-house marketing organizations.
