Cade Martin has been honored by Communication Arts magazine for Best-in-Show in the 2023 Photography competition.
According to the award-winning photographer: “This is really special and very exciting.
“And thank you Communication Arts, as always, for a steadfast commitment to the creative industry; photography in particular.
“There’s no “I” in spy, and it was extra special to be recognized by and with my peers, and to have worked on this project with such a talented team. I was thrilled to get to work with the fresh, creative team – a big thank you to Zach Goodwin and Maggie Winters – at January Third, as well as the chance to team up with Robert Luessen and Jackie Ney of NLD Productions. I was grateful for the opportunity to work with long-time creative partner Fedde Souverein at Luminous Creative Imaging, in collaboration on CGI and retouching.
“Very cool to be recognized among 2,200 entries, and the 367 that made it into the finals round. From the 122 of those that were selected for the competition, our branding campaign for the International Spy Museum – it’s one of Washington, D.C.’s coolest destinations – was selected for Best-in-Show. The Best-in-Show is selected from all the categories across the competition, so the nine judges consider this work the best of the best for 2023.”
According to Wikipedia, Communication Arts is the largest international trade journal of visual communications. Founded in 1959, the magazine’s coverage includes graphic design, advertising, photography, illustration and interactive media.
