Since 2012, the Washington Business Journal has compiled an annual list of the most influential business leaders from across the Greater Washington region—The Power 100. For the fifth time, MDB CEO Cary Hatch has been named to this exclusive list.
The WBJ described Hatch as, “a force to be reckoned with in the advertising world – and she’s quick with an opinion, be it on her favorite books or favorite campaigns. She’s been instrumental in the last year in developing a regional marketing campaign for the region.”
Hatch has over 30 years of advertising and marketing experience, and has established a formidable track record in business and consumer communications, both domestic and international. Her broad-based client experience includes the DC Lottery, National Geographic, Fannie Mae, Destination DC, International Spy Museum, Newseum, Sprint and many others.
She is an active member of the regional business community as a member of the Greater Washington Board of Trade, Federal City Council, and through her work on the Branding Greater Washington campaign that brought together over 160 regional stakeholders to help identify a way for the region to market itself and its collective assets. She is also a noted lecturer at Johns Hopkins, Georgetown University and the University of MD; and is a regular on TV and radio outlets commenting on branding and women in the workplace.
“I’m honored by the recognition and to be included amongst such prestigious company,” said Hatch. “The Power 100 list illustrates the diverse and innovative talent we have across a number of sectors in Greater Washington.”
MDB is a Capitol Communicator sponsor.
